Hi, I'm Jan Davis... You know it, you love it, you sing it in the shower! The video created by MSFC to highlight Huntsville's contributions to the space industry.

  • @MarshallCoAL no Jan is not singing on this. The woman's name is Tina. This song was written and recorded at my grandfather's studio. I'm one of the kids singing background and, along with my siblings, am in this video. You are entitled to your opinion, but I was just letting you know who actually sang the song.... and she's very talented and a beautiful person all the way around

  • I LOVE THIS SONG! We tried singing it to our councilor at space camp because he told us that we would never have to hear it ever again(I guess he didn't like it much) but we couldn't remember the words!

  • Thanks for playin' our song! Would love to hear from some future astronauts! I'm the singer and songwriter Tina Swindell along with my husband Bill.

  • God I have looked for this song for years! We would escape at Space Camp and go to the theater and watch this for hours. I still have all the lyrics memorized. My sister and I sing it all the time!

  • oh my god I went to space camp four years ago and I still remember almost all the words to this song. We would go into that room for like an hour every day and just watch it over and over. thanks for that =D

  • this brings me waaay back... i remember singing along with this song during Space Camp in the mid '90s.

  • So true. I'm glad people support the way to the future.

  • rock on.

  • Let's see you design a station that's safe for people to live in for 6 months. Think of the future, living on the moon, men on mars. How could you tarnish those dreams? Oh well, you believe what you want, I'm still going on to be a space lover...and a bit of a nerd, so we can get there.

  • I'm from Marshall county and believe me on behalf of all the people that work with the defense and space industry and live in Marshall county we apologize for this sad SOB who forgets that that if it weren't for the space program this area would be DEAD. There would be no rapid growth in this area nor would it be a great area to raise kids.

I hope he/she/it learns how to spell and maybe take a English class sometime soon.
