  • If you want a good laugh, read the Republican health care plan.

If you want to stare at a blank page, read their Wall Street regulation plan.

    So sad.

The only half-serious Republican out there is Paul Ryan.

The rest of them, I wouldn't trust to give me directions to my mailbox.

  • Also, housing prices down 55% like Detroit

  • Your email states the calls to your office are 5 to 1 against the bill. Doesn't look like your numbers add up? Maybe you should look at the number on the bill again too!

  • Specifics?? How about the 13% unemployment rate?! That was what I was referring to, which, this past summer was the SECOND-HIGHEST in America after Detroit, and it certainly hasn't gotten much better since then.

  • The Congressional Budget Office states it will save us more hundred of billion over the next ten years. Calvert's statement is FALSE. Insurance Co's take over 30% of every dollar for admin expenses. The VA spends only 3% on admin costs. As a Vet, the care I receive there is great. (Medicare admin costs are similar). CALVERT's received hundreds of thousands of dollars from the Insurance and Medical industries & THAT's who he's going to protect! RESEARCH THIS BUM!!! - Google: Calvert Land Deal

  • "I could care less", "It doesn't matter"...comments like this are an indication of being uninformed. Ask youself, "what has the representatives in our government provided that is MORE efficent and effective for the American citizen"? If you want a perfect example of government coordinated health care...visit the DMV. Talk about the left not knowing what the right is doing!!!!

YOU WILL DIE IN LINE AND NO ONE WILL KNOW WHO, WHERE OR WHY!

Reform needs to happen. It won't happen motivated by greed

  • I could care less how long it is we need change. How long are we going to let the insurance companies come in between us and our doctors? We should decide what's best for our health not them. We don't need to start over, we need to add a public option.

  • It doesn't matter if the bill is a million pages long. When someone is sick and they need help you are going to wave that paper at them saying its too much. Standing up for the insurance companies is wrong especially in a year of their record profits. They stand to win either way that is the irony of this whole thing. Do you really want to align yourself with people who don't care about each other? You bring shame and disgrace on you and all you stand for.

  • @amarrao95 I voted for Ken Calvert and I support his decision on health care. You need more specifics on how Riverside is turning in to Detroit. Your statement is too vague.

  • You should support it in the more moderate form it eventually takes out of the Energy & Commerce Committee, which will be similar to the bipartisan bill that comes out of Senate Finance.

    Your district is trending blue.

If you don't support this, you should at least sign on to Wyden-Bennett.

The people in your district are suffering almost as much as the people in Detroit, and that situation is definitely untenable for you if you want to win reelection...
