You've never taken a good body shot. It can take a few seconds for the pain to kick in. Same with a shot to the balls.

@JRSK818 The basics(a jab, right cross, left hook, defense) are more than enough for kids his age. The liver shot is reserved for older kids. Even the kids his age who outweigh him by 20-30lbs usually cry after being hit in the mouth a few times.

That's a liver shot. I taught my 8 yr old how to box to deal with the bullies and he throws a mean left hook to the liver.It's such an effective punch he's banned from using it fighting kids his age.I dont want him to hurt anybody just defend himself.
