Take away the marshes, you get epic flooding. Simple as that. And now all of the tons of sediment and whatever else get flushed into the Gulf of Mexico creating the worlds biggest toilet. So sad.

Good thing I don't live in America, when will people realize that piles of sand and mud cant hold water back? Easy solution just move to a difference city that's "above" sea level.
