  • Salam wa alaykum ikhwan..do any of you know when we are allowed to repeat ayat a number of times during salah? I've heard the qari do it during tilawah but never seen it during a fard salah, maybe this brother is praying tirawih or even tahjjud?

  • @robienob89: As far as I know, it is allowed. I have heard Imam praying fard Salah with repetition. And whenever there is a popular Imam such as Shaikh Sudais, Shaikh Suraim, Tawfeeq-As-Sayegh, they always do many repetition. But you may ask someone who is knowledgable regarding this issue. Salam-Alaykum

  • How come he said "M'liki Yaum........" shouldn't it be Maaaaaaaaaliki Yaum.....?

  • @h2dude69 Salam_Alaykum, It is in Warsh an'Nafi style. So there is a little deviation from conventional way of recitation. But it is also allowed. You may want to ask someone who has more knowledge in this issue. But it is allowed.

  • brother the verse 36 is not looking correct(mim maniyyi yumna not tumna???)

please do't share wrong verse but cut the video till that ayat

please , i just say to make goodness. Not for the badness i say this(nor i have all knowledge). ALLAH knows.

  • 2of2, Brother, you can read all the comments to find the solutions. I am solely relying on people who have commented on this. But its a good thing you asked that question. Now i m eager to go and ask a scholar to find out. Allah knows better. Salamalaykum

  • 1of2: Brother, i am not Aleem or a scholar. BUt somebody has posted this to reply to the same question you raised. This recitation is in Warsh 'an Naafi'. Its popular in quite a few countries, such as morrocco, egypt. It is one of the 7 authentic chains of transmission. So if you are memorising using this recitation, be aware its not hafs (probably the recitation you are used to) and people who are not aware of the differences will think you are making a mistake. Hope this is of some benefit.

  • @walyataletaf the brother recited it correctly. In the warsh recitation it's pronounced manyin tumna. the recitation you mentioned is the hafs recitation.

  • Just amazing!! MashAllah!!

  • @walyataletaf: It's Warsh An Nafea brother.
