All that happened was the ride was going too slow so the cars hit the stopper which is safe other wise they would slam into the actual ride itself and then you would of been really hurt basically the guy who is operating isn't doing a good job.

My 12yr daughter and her friend went on a big wheel the type where the cages roll also, they were having a really good time laughing and screaming when suddenly it turned to screams of terror,I told the bloke stop the ride my girls on and im not happy stop the ride now. All the time all I could hear were the screams of terror, the ride stopped the bloke went into the cage came out started the ride up with the girls in so I said what was it he told me it was a spider, Its pot luck with these rides

@fadedyouthtube I used to be a ride op at a theme park in Surrey and I can tell you that Funfairs on the whole are NOT dangerous. Attractions are inspected frequently and if the ride passes inspection, by law it must display an ADIPS sticker (like a car tax disc) on the front of the operators window. The local site council HAS to pass the ride off with an independent rides and attractions authority before any usage can commence. Always check the operators box for an in-date ADIPS sticker.
