@ZbmwM5 Normally I would agree with you, except that the song was a much bigger hit for Brenda than Mariah. In fact it's one of the iconic songs of the 80s. For that reason it will always be Brenda's to me.

All these peeps are wrong about Mariah saying is her song and it's not - it's always been Brenda K. Starr - she's the original with this song - Mariah was the back-up singer for Brenda on this song!!!!!!!!
