Worst fucking book I have ever read
-
Sorry, I read this this book and although it was educating, for the most part it was like too much hard work, slow, cumbersome and annoying at times.

I have been thinking about reading this book, but kept putting it off. But now that I have watched your review of the book, I am definitely going to run out to the bookstore to buy it.

Thank you, great summery. I'm almost done reading the book myself and I agree with you its a truly compelling book. All the themes you mentioned are right on such as the threat and emergence of new bacteria and viruses, global warming, genetic manipulation. Basically man playing God.

Thanks for the review. I love the book as well. Are you going to read/review her new release, a "simulquel" called Year of the Flood? --What's with the calendars? Thanks

Thanks for your comment!! :-) Yes, if I get hold of that book, I'd like to read it. I really enjoyed this book, and the other Atwood novel I've read. If there are any particular books or authors you'd like to recommend to me and have me review, please let me know, I will certainly consider it. :-)
In the video I'm sitting in front of my calendar wall in my kitchen ... I can never choose just one calendar, so I have a whole wall of them, probably about a dozen. :-D

LOL Giving up without a fight is a self-fulfilling
prophecy. The rich may fund the science but they
can't hide the results in an open community.
I remember when the computer was the monopoly of big business and big government
It only took 5 years for it to start to spillover into
the hands of the techs and now they are
literally everywhere owned by rich and poor alike.
The media only carries bad news which taints
everything it touches. GRIN
