Liu Xiang of China was matched stride for stride over eight hurdles by American Terrence Trammell. In the end it was Xiang who pulled away to win the 110-meter hurdles in 12.95 seconds, staring down his opponents at the finish line. (WCSN, WCSN.com)

i like robles a lot but i think liu xiang's technique is the best...even last week collin jackson was predicting liu xiang to win the london olympics, he said david oliver is strong and aggressive, robles is a floater who looks like someone who is born to hurdle but liu xiang is superior than them in terms of hurdling techniques, and most of the time collin jackson's prediction comes true as i have witnessed many times...

Yep u cant compare 110hurdles with 100...
its such like comparing long jump with high jump.
The technique and the rithym in the hurdles are the most important thing.
Of course at that level you must be very fast.
