If we and all created with us are the expression of "The Oneness" than driving any species to extinction would be considered a form of suicide.

  • Passenger pigeons and others were over hunted or their land was altered for other purposes, mostly for human needs.

  • Interesting concept. My personal belief is, the beings that have gone extinct chose to do so, but I am weird...

  • @wigglebump I have a hard time with that, I feel that the apposeabul thumb crowd (humans) need to own our roll as stewards/destroyers, depending on the case.

  • Precisely.

The environmental movement is not about saving the tress and the whales. It is about saving ourselves from ourselves.

  • In oneness we are the tree and the whales, we can not live as an island.

  • A collective, prolongued form of suicide..

  • Great phrase for the process!
