Here is a cob beehive oven built at San Dominico school in Marin. It was definately a first for many of thes kids to get their hands and feet in the mud. this is anoter step towards getting natural building worked in to the school curriculum as an educational standard.

Fabulous ! Can you tell me about the oven bricks? What is the name of them? What type of place to buy them? Was the clay dug up right were you were building? I can't get over the uniformed students transforming into cob building elfs in no time. Looks like they had the time of their lives. Wondering why adobe houses arent being built on the poor reservations where housing is an issue? Thanks again for sharing another incredible project !
