@fruys thanks for responding! Did you rasterize the images before converting them to symbols?
My problem right now is that for the roofing, the parallel lines I tried imitating don't look very good.

How did you create the texture maps you use??

@beepandbop I designed the textures in illustrator and converted them into symbols. These symbols can simply be loaded as textures for 3D objects in illustrator. But I'll write some comments in the subtitles asap. Sorry for this!

I think Liman textures vol.3 (ancient architecture) will suit your castle the best. Nice job btw.

@soholino Thank you very much for this suggestion! In this illustration I was testing weither it was realistic to make a full vector illustration in 3D (with vector model, vector textures and vector shadings).

@beepandbop You're absolutely right; I'll add subtitles to the clip with commentary. I made these clips for a workshop. Without any hints it's hard to understand.
