Why does it matter what the scale says? You should know better than that. Body fat % versus lean muscle mass % is what matters. 135 doesn't mean shit if you're flabby, but you can be 145 with a lean, smoking hot body. Keep handing out those tickets for the gun show! Remember, if in doubt about exercise selection or pressed for time, just squat and sprint! Good luck with your goals.

I have a dare for you…
You look pretty strong..cool muscles
Can you do a vid of u flexing your arm muscles for 1 minute then giving a guy your age or older a 4 minute piggyback ride…
Do you have Facebook.
You could do like a funny workout vid…you lift a guy instead of weights?
Do you model. You're very pretty.
That would be a cool dare..
Can you make the dare out to mot238?
Can you do that dare?

@CathyAnxiety Research reprinted in the NYT column "The Midnight Men" shows, and this is what I found, that the 5 mg doses are too much on a regular basis. Jet Lag pills nuke your sleep cycles for some overseas trip whereas all you really need is a sniper shot of about 0.5 mg. Your brain gives up producing its own melatonin because you're flooding it with the big dose but a little dose just tickles it to remind it to get on with the dream juice production.

I ate so badly during the holiday I lost track of all the crap that I was eating. Getting more sleep could definitely be one of my resolutions, I'm a night owl too (see time stamp on your email lol).

Yes, you look very cute in those eyeglasses, Cathy!
I had severe insomnia for most of my life so let me give you the 411 on sleep deprivation. All that matters is your 72-hour average: if you can get 21 hours of snooze in then that's adequate; less and many *evil* things happen. For we nightowls the problem is we seem to have a 27 hour sleep cycle so we want to bed later each day but have to get up at the same time. So, 2 hours before official bedtime take a tiny bit bit of melatonin (jet-lag pill): crush a pill just take a little of the dust.

@ajubvj I usually take one 5mg melatonin (sometimes 1 1/2) 30min to 1hr before I go to bed. I just have to remember to take it early enough so I'm not groggy the next morning.

Finally, a realistic list by someone who seems to have the enthusiasm to fulfill it! I'm in the same boat as far as sleeping goes. Due to work/gym/hobbies I only get about 5-6 on workdays and end up crashing for 10-11 on my first day off. Do you do the day off catchup as well or have you been able to maintain that short night of sleep all the time?

@Soulgotha I used to, but since I've been working overtime I have to get up early on the weekends too.

Bad hair day ?? Are you frickin serious ?? You look awesome !
But just a word of warning on the sleep.
You need at least 8hrs. I am constantly tired because i cant get much r.e.m sleep due to my sinuses, and in the last 4 years I've gained quite the baggage under my eyes.
So rest up as much as you can.

@DaveyLoosesWeight I'm used to functioning on about 6 hours sleep, it's just been kicking my ass lately. In order for me to get 8 hours of sleep I'd have to be asleep by 8:30pm (I get up at 4:30am). Considering I don't get home until almost 7pm on days I go to the gym, going to bed that early is pretty unrealistic.
