  • @Drewtitus To be fair- don't confuse yourself with a Toyota.

  • @mpwelk

In almost every country except this one Toyota makes diesel trucks. They know how to do it - very well. Likewise I can't import a diesel Toyota into the USA- guess why?

  • @allenscott19832008 Wow.... you're just ignorant. Diesel motors produce "soot" which is unburnt hydrocarbons (extremely carcinogenic) These get into your lungs & make "black lung" like coal miners used to get. Gasoline doesn't have nearly as much "soot" just C02 & C-monoxide along with water vapors & in high pressure engines N0X (usually forced induction). I applaud your ignorance to your sentence structure "WAY MORE DIRTY-ER" You should have said, "Much dirtier".

  • @madjimms UR AN IDIOT THE GAS ENGINE IS WAY MORE DIRTY-ER THAN A DIESEL ENGINE

  • i have a 81 toyota with 500k miles on it and it gets 40mpg with a leak in the injectior pump

  • Too bad we can't get diesel Toyotas here,we have too many cry baby tree hugging liberals that want to promote pos hybrids.

  • @purpleravenstar Diesel smoke is a KNOWN carcinogen. It produces more N0X gasses & 4 known cancer causing carbon compounds, it is also usually contaminated with hard metals. While diesel has more energy density per gallon, it also has more toxins per gallon.

  • @doug48858 um... cause you are broke and cant afford it

  • @azthundercloud I actually agree, put one of these 4 Cylinder Diesels in the Current Tacoma, and I bet Toyota will be hard pressed to keep them on the Dealer Lots! heck, ALL The Manufacturers need to have AT LEAST a Small Diesel in their Small Pickups JUST for the Fuel Efficiency! The Instant Low End grunt would just be a Bonus!

  • If I had gone trough what you did to get this engine running I'd have been jumpin all over the place! Job well done!

  • From the looks of it in this video, the truck is going to need new front-end body work.

  • @azthundercloud

They wanted to with the Tundra HD. But it never worked out. If they wanted to do that they should had sourced the engine from their Hino division.
