Correct, AKA "the man."

Liberals believe that we can build a few more wind/solar farms and it will be enough to power the US.

Liberals hate corporations and demonize profit, i.e. economic growth.

Man caused climate change is not a consensus. Nuclear power is the most dependable form of energy production we have. Every process involves waste products. The atomic age is not over. To all the lefty anti corporation anti nuclear power idiots what is your solution?

Take your own advice Mr. President. "No silver bullets" should mean that nuclear takes up at least part of the equation.

Nuclear power is the way to go. There are hundreds of square miles of uninhabited land where the waste can safely be disposed of.

@SoCalFlya

That may not even be needed, with fast breeder reactors the waste is essentially zero.

Goddamnit. It's been a year of disappointment with Obama, more than ever with his latest foray into energy policy.
Solar and wind?
Nuclear? Of course not. He's been equivocating on nuclear ever since he's been elected.

I supposed Obama in 2008. I volunteered for his campaign and went door to door explaining his policy, and even had a psycho pull a fucking gun on me doing so. The only thing he's done that I hoped he would do was introduce health care and open relations with Latin America.

"Remember Chernobyl - before it melted down - all the "experts" were saying its 100% safe, don't worry, nothing can bad can happen or go wrong,"

No they weren't. For years the inspectors were saying it could easily cause exactly that kind of disaster. Scientists warned them over and over again, but the politicians put profit first.

Then again, the US always puts profit first too, so maybe they shouldn't be allowed any either.
