The choreography really just doesnt fit the music. A classic case of thinking its more important to put a whole lot of difficult steps in a dance than actually being true to the piece, hence making it very hard to actually dance the piece. I understand this was a while ago bt you need to work on your transitions, every step may be ok on its own but if they dont flow it willl never be a dance and you will never feel the emotion behind it

@vanillataurusbean i only started ballet for a year in my late 20s & then started again around age 36. At 38 I was doing 3 classes a week preparing for my 1st pointe shoes, & right before I was to get them I sprained my ankle (from running) & after a few months of restoring my ankle got my 1st pointe shoes! So you're not too old if you're determined to work hard & do prepointe work & have a good teacher who knows if you can handle it. I'm 40 now & still doing pointe & am loving ballet.
