Uday is definitely taken by Moniah/Manyata. However, he was brought up in the Sahi Gharana where love has no place. So, he probably doesn't even know that he is falling in love. For him this is all just a way to get the finances that Manyata is the owner of; as well as, a way to be in the good favors of Devgad's and Dadi Saab.
