flood in bihar (supaul & araria) 23-09-08

Condition after flood. The lives of people are getting miserable day by day. I appreciate the works and management of mega camps. But the problem is the number of mega camps is limited. On an average 4 million people have been effected where as the capacity of mega camp is limited to 10 thousand approx. what about other people. The condition of mega camps at bathanaha (D/s Araria ) is miserable. There are 6 thousand cards distributed whereas roundabout 13000 people are taking food.
The government has announced a package of Rs. 2200.00 & 1 quintal of food grains.
1)Will this be divided to the people residing at mega camps only? If yes what about those people staying at different bandhs or places nearby their houses to protect it from thieves. Since the capacity of camps are limited.
2)What will be the mode of distribution? How is government going to identify the right victim of flood.
3)There are lots of people whome the mukhiya has said thi Rs 1000.00 will be supplied instead of Rs 2200.00. They are still in darkness.

There are lots of people staying at banbh of Baria, chunni. Thuthi, chapin ETC. The food at times is supplied by local people an at times by mukhiya ( who supplies khidchi 1 to 2 days in a week) at times they stay in hunger. The mukhiya say that the government food grains has finished temporarily.
Can any body give some update of the koshi bandh? If you have the right information pls give.
