@howtohockeydotcom another thing about @phreddy87 's comment is he could be grabbing to high on the stick, for a one timer slap shot you want to grab lower for more power and control.

is that a street hockey arena or something cuz there are nets everywhere

do u think u can make a video like this on ice i saw your on ice one and it doesnt really affect me some people say i have the postion of the puck wrong and how can i get a better rotation on the puck isnt really bad but it tends to be angled in the air can you make a video on ice to improve those things

I have a wooden extention to my stick and it keeps comming lose on me when I take my shots today it happend again while practicing my slap shots. What kind of Glue should I use to make it stronger and hold better?

@phreddy87 that is really part of it. Mabe get a lower flex stick or close the blade more when it hits the ice and and cup the puck so the stick flexes..hope this helps

2:44 GOAL POST! LOL

@Solomanium Well my stick is basically a Bauer X:50, but since the original blade snapped in half i had to change it. I just cutted the original blade off and attached a new one. Now it has a Warrior AK27 blade with Vanek pattern. The flex is about 100. I open my blade when shooting. Did this help at all? :DD
when i do onetimers i usually get like a "funnybone" sensation in my hand, why is that, and do you have any tips on how to fix it?

@phreddy87 That can be because of the stick not having enough flex. I recommend wearing your gloves when you shoot and it should help reduce that feeling, also try a stick with some more flex

as you follow through with your slapshot are you supposed to look where your shooting?

@glaciers07 Yeah definitely, if you are good you can just take a peak and then hammer your shot off, but during the follow through look down the stick like a sniper looking down the rifle

are you supposed to hit the puck directly with your stick or hit the ground close to the puck?

@reidharr35 #1 rule, always hit the ground / ice first. It loads your stick, helps raise the puck, and makes the shot A LOT harder, and more accurate.
