St Johns School Mairangi Bay, Auckland, New Zealand, opened on 1 February 1961 with a roll of 124 children in two classroom blocks, consisting of 5 classrooms and an Administration area. The history of the school is one of continued growth, of self reliance and determination to ensure St. John's is a community that excels. Today the school has a total of 337 children and 14 classrooms. In 2011 St. John's School celebrates 50 wonderful years. We invite you to celebrate with us 50 years of St John's School Mairangi Bay. Current and past - pupils, parents, teachers, staff and board members, PTFA and friends of the school - are invited to join us for a weekend of celebration and nostalgia 18, 19 & 20 March 2011 and acknowledge fifty remarkable years of achievement. Reconnect with friends, staff and families and recapture those memorable moments and stories in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. "Together, we excel, we celebrate, we live our faith in Christ".
