Star Gladiator - PS1 - Opening

Star Gladiator, Episode 1: Final Crusade, for the PS1 by Capcom, released in 1996. It's a weapon based fighter in the Soul Caliber vein, but not nearly as successful. As you see from the title Capcom must of hoped for a series of these games. I was a guilty pleasure of mine to play this game, I wanted it to be better that it was. I like the idea of a futuristic weapon base fighter but it's drawbacks was the iffy controls and the fact that there was only one babe in the game and she was kind of goofy looking and rather weak. But it did inspire me to do my first Dragonfly Game Flipz (I'll post that soon, with some Star Gladiator game footage)

I've been trying to remember the name of this game for like 10 FUCKING yrs!!! i luvd this game...sooooooo much. i wonder what happened to it. Capcom needs a remake.

Thanks for the comment. I agree, it would be cool for Capcom to remake, and update, it. At least they should release it for download for the PSP on the Playstation Network. I'd buy for $5. Thanks, again.

wow that is some good cg for ps1 graphics. i've never played this game, infact i never really knew it exist until i played marvel vs. capcom 2. He's my favorite character in that game.

wow.. talk about oldschool. One of the earliest 3D fighters I can remember.

I always loved playing that dinosaur character with a spiked skull for a weapon. hahaha!:D
