I used this combo: Meat Cleaver, Homing Soul Arrow, Kriss Blade, Ring of Magical Sharpness, and a good shield. Wack him, switch to Kriss Blade and HSA while he's down and cast the spell, switch shield over spell before he regains footing. Wack him again with Meat Cleave when he's stunned from HSA. Rinse and repeat. With the boosts to magic damage, you only need to do it like 4 times.
