  • Obviously those who haven't played football themselves don't truely undestand the greatness of Messi. When I saw him first time under 20 WC I knew this 16 years old kid would be world best player someday. It is his touch to the ball, its just amazing, only Maradona had same gift.

  • @TanenaT

he was 17 years old there)

And yes u said just what i think)

U just need to see his touch to the ball and u will understand everything)

  • @Naser0east0side

Of course without good team u will not score 44 goals in one season. It's obvious.

But when I say Messi is better than CRonaldo I say about his GAME. And he doesnt need to score 44 goals to make me understand that.

  • @Naser0east0side

Messi was 2nd player in the world (after Kaka) when he scored overal only 16 goals and Barca had not very good season. But couches and captains voted for him because of his game was one of the best.

  • @jerel42 I mean if he'd been of a nationality with more international football success. Therefore gaining success on the World stage, as well as great club level respect, as World Cup performances seem to be essential to the majority of peoples opinions on who the Worlds best players are. Rest assured I have no problem with the Irish, his birth place is no stain on his ability, or indeed his hilarious sense of humour. "I spent most of my money on women and booze, the rest I just squandered" :D!

  • @scaryninja1693 What do you mean, if Best hadn't been Irish? Can you explain? I can say that Best was a truly astonishing talent, he just did things that were magic, really. You may be right that he could have been the best ever. Certainly he was one of the best ever, that seems hard to argue with. Like Pele and Maradona, he had amazing touch, vision, and creativity. I count myself lucky to have seen him play live, even though when I saw him play he was well beyond his prime.

  • @jerel42 If George Best hadn't been Irish, he'd be the best in the World. Messi plays just like Best did in a way, fast, impossibly good touch, great finish and knew how to play a team game as well.

  • I LOVE this part (6:28-6:32)

  • @TanenaT He is an incredible player, but I disagree with your last sentence. I'd say of great goal scorers only Pele and Maradona had this same gift. Also, I'm a Barca and Messi fan, but to truly go down in history, he is going to need to perform for Argentina, also -- note that Pele and Maradona performed for both their clubs and their countries.

  • greatest football player alive. BETTER THAN C.RONALDO =)

  • @rodrigo1553 Not only the run but the first touch to control was just superb!

  • very nice thanks

  • Messi is just unbelievable

  • thx
