@calumknight1984 wrong my hairy balls-I've seen the profile played out in a plethora of variations at Sikorsky aircrafts (Stratford) sim trainer back in the late 90's ...I suppose those test pilots going through the hassle of my afore mentioned description were actually screwing around on a video game that was created for their amusment.
Perhaps RAH 66 was an abbreviation for "Radically Applied Helium" instead of Recon-Attack Helicoptor

@MightySaturn5 wrong it was a scout helicopter it was designed to go behind enemy lines mark targets for apaches out of sight and only engage if safe to do so there were never many of these intended to be put into production they were to replace the scout helicopters with the big radome/targetting system above the rotors (cant remember the name think it was sioux not entirely sure)

@ejzen11 yeah ejzen, you're correct -this craft was incredible in every aspect. A typical situation would be the Commanche flying into enemy territory being almost invisible to radar, when it comes upon an enemy encampment or such it would fly very low then pop up for a second while its computer would assign each of its weapons to a specific target, it would then open its bays, fire the weapons,close the bays and leave...by the time all hell breaks loose its long gone
