I want to thank you very much for posting these videos. Even after watching them and gaining a decent grasp on the content I feel some of these propositions are so complex and important that I, with my just day or two of research, should not be contributing to such important decisions. However, I know that there are so many people who know so much less and mark their ballots anyway and I suppose my vote is better than leaving it blank.

So if a commission is a fair way to do it, then why don’t Alaska and Texas do it? The truth is the commission favors the party in minority. If the Republicans became the majority party in California  you would see the end of the commission real quick.
