Bill was definitely in poor health here. He was gone a year or so later, and yes, you are right. Bill did look much better in March 79 than here. This was Nov 79. I saw him on both occasions and close up he looked ill to me. Nevertheless, he did a good show, and his voice sounded pretty much the same. I wonder what happened?

Looks like Bill may have been having dental work. He tried to keep his mouth closed when not singing. I'm sure it contributed to his ill health. Bad teeth can make you feel like crap. But, in spite of this, he performed like the pro that he was. Long live Rock and Roll.

I was stationed in Europe in the late 70 and won two tickets by doing an Elvis routine, to one of his concerts in Germany. Wished I'd had a camera!!! Thanks for posting this era!! sorry.
