Why did Del Toro make Kroenen an assassin in the movies? He left out Leopold Kurtz and Herman von Klempt as well.

@leonel1993 Heh. He's funny in the comic, too. Everything he manufactures eplodes or doesn't work. With the BPRD's equipment, he probably did it on purpose. But in the end, he gets blinded by Rasputin after being calumniated by Kroenen and, flailing his arms around the lab helplessly, he involuntarily hits the self-destruct switch. BOOM!
