I saw this as a kid and have tried to find it also but have not been able to find it. As i recall they have a sequence after the fight where it appears that Kirk won but then it is revealed that Johnny won and he was just day dreaming how it would have turned out if Kirk had won. Sort of a N. Night "I see dead people twist."

Wow. I'd wondered how Johnny Cash would want such a scene to play out. He was no stranger to violence, but he had a sort of realistic spritiual side. I figured he'd either let Douglas win, or they'd both get shot. In the end, I guess the silence was the best way for the scene to end.
