You can get an electric car now. Save the gas guzzler for road trips. Elec costs only 10-15% as much as gas.

The very last interview hit home for me, when he talked about how we made atomic bombs but still use oil for our cars, good point., its all about money!!!

But I don't think people need to drive that far.
I personally don't have to worry too much about the monetary side but I ride to work 4 days a week and I drive the other.
People need to start using public or alternative transport methods, very few people that NEED a car during work hours aren't subsidised for it I wouldn't think so there is really no excuse unless your work isn't serviced by any nearby public transport.
