Oskar the Blind Cat Demonstrates How to Climb the Kitchen Counter

Here's another quick vid from the ol' iPhone...

I had quite a few of Oskar's fans ask me how he manages to get around the new pad in Seattle. Well, after two weeks, he has it down. One of the first things he discovered was the way to the top of the kitchen island counter via the drinking fountain. Yes, he walks the counter -- that's what Clorox wipes are for, right?! Like any "normal" cat, Oskar loves to climb and be on top of things.

Yes he does -- amazing hearing, sense of smell, and a great memory too.

I was just watching some older videos and realize that you moved! How did Oskar cope with having to learn the layout of a new home?

Yup -- we moved to Seattle in early December. It took Oskar about a week to get comfortable with the new place. He likes it -- but there is absolutely no carpet anywhere, so he learned to "drift" around corners!

Oskar is amazing! Do you ever have a problem moving the furniture around? What happened when you moved house?

Oskar is really good about learning the layout of a place. He can get used to a new furniture arrangement in a matter of an hour or two.

Thanks for following Oskar's story. Honestly, he figures all of this stuff on his own (and by following Klaus around -- he's quite clever too). I don't have any tips really, but I am sure YouTube and Google searches will reveal tons of tricks. Take care!
