This video was taken at the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, Nebraska on March 8, 2007. It shows a nautilus swimming, grabbing some food and disappearing into the darkness!
lol yeah they could have made a marine-life type of race for the second one they could have gone crazy w/ it 2 their so many "alien-like" creatures out there
Thanks i've been doing some research since I have some nice shells that I have found and am in the process of making a model of one to place in the shell for display..These things give survival a new meaning
The tentacles are hidden well - some of the smaller ones are behind the larger ones and some are tucked up inside the hood (the large flap above the eye). I like the way that nautilus was eating a shrimp it was awesome
Great footage. I like how the rocking motion helps it 'swing' through the water! All the models that I have seen give them larger thicker tentacles. They say these can also have like ninety tentacles but where are they?
Graceful and cute from some angles, a Cthulhoid monster from others.

You could barely see him...but enough that you get the idea. :)
