@Dudongo86 sorry to say that but Tai Otoshi is very difficult. Extremly difficult to perform in competition without the opponent being destroyed . Probably he will hate you after tai otoshi. They always hit and get injured in this technique.
I almost destroyed my foot when the opponent fell on my foot on full maximum ultra power on it. Severe pain !!!
Usually you get injured with this technique and then everyone hates you for injuring them.
Tai otoshi not for me.

Very difficult technique. Do a single mistake and bye bye to your foot with the heel up.

with this injuries, are high how ever just as high in foot sweep as the foot is not ment for the amount of rotation that is place on them in foot sweeps i've seen more injuries, from foot sweeps than leg grabs due to the size ofthe sot sittue type within foot to the size in the knee hip there diff types of joints

in this video we can see perfectly how must not be this tecnique... pay attention to the 'giraffe' position of the legs during and after doing it... is really bad.

Haha, same here. :d

@drandula Yeap, and if you think about it, the favorite techniques like Seoi or Uchi Mata can easily lead to leg injuries, that's why I always have prefer footsweeps.

No problem :)
I think the knee injuries are worst for judoka, because without good footplay, you cannot do good Tai Sabaki. It also effects in your mat technique.
@sebaelmusico You do realize that he's a World Champion and Olympic medalist and tai otoshi was a tokui waza, right?

My senpai always sas you must turn your leg so, that your knee points to ground. This because if it fails and uke falls on your leg, it will crush your leg and knee expecially if opponent is heavy. If knee points to ground leg can safely bend.
