i have a question, how can I find a foundation that has covourage ( to cover redness) when I am white? Like casper,lol, every foundation I try is to dark...are there brands with lighter shades?

i try to do that but i can never find a mirror or a tester or theres loads of people there that get in your way and or people that just stand there waiting for you to move.

what formula and brand would you recommend for full coverage and oily skin.

I have problem finding the right foundation becuase my face and neck are real sunburned because where I live I'm more exposed to the sun, so my face/neck section are darker than the rest of my skin, which is pretty light, In this case would I use foundation that is a bit lighter than my face? Thank you :)

@silverwhipser mac maches u,save up the cash for foundation and then you will know ur shade. then you can use drugstore foundations yaaay :D

@paulababe1985 I would suggest Mac pro longwear. and for oily skin I would use mac skin refined zone, and then prime with Makeup forevers hd photo ready primer. And set with mac studio fix powder.

@MandiJanesPage08 yes yes that always happens to me, and it's so annoying when the sales people just stand there waiting for you to pick something up, it's like they're watching your every move and like "come on come on come on", it sometimes even feels like they are trying to prevent you from stealing or something, they're always breathing over your neck, it's so annoying and makes me so nervous that I end up going out and not buying anything!! Hate that!

I just thought I had found a good foundation but it's a bit too dark (and red! oO). :( why did manhattan have to change light beige :((( it's just so wrong.

@silverwhipser you could always conceal over the redness with a fuller coverage concealer (try Macs Studio Fix, it covers everything and comes in loads of shades) and use a sheerer foundation, you'll get the coverage where you need it, and any colour issues shouldn't be too big a deal with a sheer foundation.

I swear by this and I literally am the same colour as paper: Hope it helps :)

@AquiraPrincess If you have a very red face, then you should see your neck´s color, and apply a foundation that is the same color (or the most true to it , sometimes it is almost impossible to have the exact color) ^ ^

@silverwhipser I have the same issue, I use loreal true match and you can get it at wal mart for like $8 and they have a lot of pastey shades for girls that are like a Cullen shade ha ha
