Against Somali Gangs

On October 3, 2008 , some Somali College and High School Students in Minnesota voiced their anger and opposition to the increasing Somali on Somali Gang Violence in the Twin Cities. Close to 10 Somali young men, mostly in their late teens or early 20's were murdered by other Somali young men. The community as a whole is shocked and caught off guard by this negative and senseless violence. The protesters, most of them being community activists and organizers went and marched into Somali neighborhoods, strip malls and called for the end of gang violence. I was there and was able to capture some of the protest action in camera. This video is compressed and thus its blurry choppiness.
