212 lbs. -2.2 lbs from last friday.
I speak about some interesting realizations I've had recently. I hope this gives some sort of perspective to people who are losing weight or who have already lost weight. I really think there should be more studies on the psychological process of weight loss, and then the psychological process of maintaining the weight.
Anyway, hope all is well! Talk to you all next week!
Hey Vince saw your video, your right. Anyone who has lost a significant amount of fat is in the same boat as you. I am actually dealing with the same issues. I haven't been able to nail down a solution yet to this issue. I know that over the past two years for me, I've looked back at my food, and workout logs and notice how far off track I can get. Right now I am experimenting with longer cardio sessions and higher reps for cutting. Hopefully it will work as it should. Try it. Take care bud :)

It's all good bro, I gained some weight in the last year too. You know what you need to do, you just have to have the willpower to stick with it.

Great video, and you're right ... the mental picture we have about ourselves can be really powerful.

@Andyyyk47 - i lost about 130 something lbs over the past four years, still have kept it off, but my loose skin has not retracted itself. It's still loose as ever, and it still hangs and I hate it.

bro, I know exactly what you mean. My lowest was 165lbs (I'm 5'11"), and everyone around me, kept asking me "are you sick"? and "why are you so skiinny", and I would always say in my mind "what the fuck are they talking about, I'm still fat"
I got the same loose skin on my belly & chest area as well, and I hate it. But in my mind, with that skin there, meant I had not achieved, I was still fat. And I was 315lbs at my heaviest , so I got a lot of loose skin, still to this day.

Im at my dream goal after 2 years of hard work and I still feel fat. But I KNOW I'm not. I think that it takes a very long time for body image issues to go away, know that you're not alone xxx I think you look great by the way. You've clearly learnt a lot and come a long way cos If you hadn't you'd look worse now than when you'd started :) Its a lifelong process and you're doing great!!

Glad you covered the topic of always feeling fat even at your lowest weight. I struggled or still struggle with that. I was nearly 10 lbs (or possibly 15 lbs) lighter last year, yet I still feel the same way about my body image. I do recognize I'm healthier and my body is more defined, but it's easy to fall off and feel fat and to make yourself fit into that mold. Keep at it. Maintenance and finding a balance is the key. Pushing too hard or being too strict can cause you to relapse.
