I went to see him in about 8 years ago in San Bernadino. As a musican we have to recognize that Chris taught us be who we are first and our show second.
He was a true cowboy first and foremost and never tried to be anything more than himself.
Everything else about him was a result of knowing himself. He inspires me to do the same.
thats sorta what i said on an earlier page. to be a cowboy wasnt the romantic thing it is today. you were on a horse for 18 hours a day which is how the term bowlegged came to be, in the sun all day, bathed once a month if they were lucky.
