This is my 1st Amstrad CPC demo coded entirely in assembly. It was first presented at the ReAct2003 demoparty. A fine example of the kind of demos missing on CPC scene.

  • Great stuff. Awesome. Is there a different version of the tune, btw? Because I listened to a slightly different version on Kohina.

  • @perplexedmoth

Yes. It is the similar music as in the great C64 demo One-der from Oxyron. I really loved that music on the C64 intro and the musician of my demo decided to port it (actually rewrite it) for CPC. So, it made me happy and I used it :)

  • @Optimus6128 The tune, especially the style of the bass line appeared to be familiar to me too (even though I didn't know Fanta's original from "One-der"... I've never seen that demo before actually). Finally, I found it: it was one of the Turrican tunes composed by Ramiro Vaca (C64). Looks like Fanta learned a lot from Ramiro's composing and arrangement style... :-)

  • well done m8, a real great one!
