yes he is right Spanish has nothing to do with Portuguese, but if you know the history of Portugal realize why it is often confused!

@doolphin2006 He also pronounced his first name wrong. Joaquim is Portuguese (western european) not latino. Joaquim is NOT pronounced like the name Joaquin (Wah-Keen).

The portuguese language has nothing to do with the latino/spanish language. Its as german is for english. People dont get it. Im portuguese, I know that, okay you dont need to be one to get it .. anyway the journalist didnt do the homework. These journalists just care about charlize theron and angelina jolies and tom cruises.Joaquim de almeida doesnt give a fuck about fame, he doesnt adopt a kid just to look good on TV. He´s a honest and simple person.
