Hello and I'm Joslyn for Clevver TV coming to you from our Bev Hills studios where fans and celebs alike are siding with Jessica Simpson and begging the media to leave her alone!

Talk about Jessica Simpson's weight errupted recently after not-so-flattering shots were taken at a concert at a chili cookoff in FLorida. The singer, who was wearing a black tank, high-waisted jeans, and a patterned belt was immediately the target of fat jokes and ridicule. Following the media outburst, it wasn't surprising that the blonde beauty had a mini-meltdown during her opening set for Rascal Flatts in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Apparently she lost her place in several songs and even forgot the words at one point, AFTERWHICH she mouthed that she was sorry and tearfully said that she was feeling really vulnerable onstage and that her voice was a bit weakened. The off-night had some speculating about the possibility of Jess being the next Britney Spears.

Fellow media targets are on Simpson's side 100 percent. Hottie Kim Kardashian told Fox News that she is probably twice Jessica's size and that she's proud of her curves. Even Jess's ex-husband Nick Lachey is coming to her rescue. About the whole weight gain scandal, Nick says he wishes her nothing but the best regardless of her size and that he can't believe what a big deal this whole thing is, and that he never ceases to be amazed by what people's reactions are.

A rep from People magazine says that "Jessica is becoming part of a trend called body-bullying. People are cruelly mocking her, making her feel like there is something wrong with her just because she has a slightly fuller figure." And I must note that slightly fuller figure refers to the star who weighs only 125 pounds, which is much smaller than the average American woman. Regardless of her size, Jess seems lucky in love. At a recent show she gushed about her new boyfriend, Dallas cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. Romo even hit the road with his lady love and joined her on tour for some special support. And the support is serving her well. She even jumped on stage in her signature daisy dukes and thanked her sister Ashlee for giving her the stregth and encouragement to keep singing even when she feels like walking off stage.
