"We Got The Beat," was the opening song for a classic movie...Fast Times at Ridgemont High! It was one of those 80's "for sure" classics of the day! Who could forget Sean Penn as the surfer dude! The Go-Go's DEF., left their mark on a LOT of us. We have seen the chicks through the years and they STILL have the sound AND the "beat" for sure:)

Ok Now! The Go-Go's were most certainly the best 80's girl band to hit the music scene! They took us all by storm! I know I was totally head over heels when I first heard this song! :-D This was totally the best fast skating song at the rink. When it came on all us kids would scream out in joy and then the pace picked up and everyone skated around that floor like mad! Those were the best days ever! I can still feel all that excitement of that time within me! I sure miss those days so much! :-(
