Alexandra at Mosaic II Hosted by Katya Faris

Mosaic II, a Tapestry of Middle Eastern and Spanish Dances took place April 4 & 5, 2008 at the John Waldron Arts Center in Bloomington, IN. This video is from the second night of performances. Beautiful dancing enveloped all of us present. Performances done by Mohamed Shahin of Egypt, Katya Faris, Ana Lucia & Camila of Brazil, Ashley Donaldson, and myself! This piece was choreographed by Katya Faris and myself, and in the Egyptian tradition combines choreography with improvisational parts.
