  • Many people do not appreciate these animasls and it is because of the fact that they can't take care of themselves. The ability to be a bird that speaks, has a personality, and to understand what is going on in its environment just shows the intelligence. Breaks my heart to hear someone call these animals "dumb".

  • cool, but geez, turn down the freakin' tv

  • he sounds exactly like my blue fronted amazon and also looks exactly the same. Mine loves to sing though. : )

  • @liverpool19713 I have a blue fronted amazon, and I've found that just repeating things over and over to her again works. Also - use food as a reward when your parrot starts to learn the words. That's worked with me at least. Good luck!

  • @liverpool19713 You should try putting it around music or the TV and generally give it lots of attention. They also love to eat avocado and respond greatly to it.

  • any one knows how can i teach my amazon parrot how to talk

  • Sharp video! You did a good job! Love your parrot! Beautiful!

  • Why didn't you said hello back to him man!!!!?! :((

  • i have a great playtop cage for my hybrid amazon he's a speckled and a yellow naped amazon hes amazing! but watch out when there on there cages they can get aggresive :/

  • So you don't have to get married to have someone talk through your TV programs...just get a bird...probably cheaper in the long run!

  • Ah, reminds me of Coco, he was a bluefronted amazon too, lost him two years ago. I've had a lot of pets in my life, cats, dogs, everything, but no loss has been bigger than Coco. He'd make the same groaning sounds as yours at 0:42 and up. He/she is just adorable and seems very happy :-)

  • What a beautiful bird! I love the colors!
