C.C.F.'s Shiloh is a wonderful, smooth moving, yet animated, laid back guy. He was born and raised here at Country Charm Farm and is now standing at stud. Shiloh is triple registered, Rocky Mountain, Kentucky Mountain and American Gaited. He is the epitome of the Mountain Horse breed, calm, sweet, and people loving. Add in he has great confirmation, is doing well at shows, is a KMSHA Futurity Stallion, and you have the full package.
If you're looking for a great stallion for your perfect mare, we hope that you'll consider Shiloh.

  • What a beautiful boy and a wonderful team you make. I get teary just watching. Did it take a lot of years of professional training or is he just this natural. Do think a horse can do this without a bit?

  • @rshovea I am so sorry! I haven't been on this site in a long time and missed your comment. Thank you so much for the kind remark and sentiment. Shiloh was born with this lovely gait. I have pictures of him and others that I own, as weanlings, out on the pasture in gait. There is someone on You Tube that has their stallion in gait going bitless, he's a Rocky Mountain horse too.....so, the answer is, "Yes!"

  • I just bought a RMSH and I like your saddle a lot..what type is it..and can they canter? thank you!! JEN IN N.J.

  • @sielick I ride in an adjustable stirrup Campbell Whitman Crabtree style saddle. I love to ride bareback and this saddle feels as close to that as I can get and still be able to show on it. The last minute of this video shows Shiloh cantering. I also have him cantering in the beginning of my other video, "Shiloh, In Training & Blue Denim Show."

  • What a beautifully gaited horse. He looks smooth as silk. I love the way you ride him. You have a beauitufl seat. I also love that he canters! I guess that dispels all the talk about cantering ruining the gait!

  • @GaitedLover Thanks for your kind remarks. Shiloh does ride like a dream. As for the canter, Yes, I just had to put that on this video as well. No one ever told my horses that gaited horses shouldn't canter, they do it all the time out on the field and left to their own devices. Far be it from me to attempt to stop them, as if I could. So, harnessing that fun under saddle was the thing to do and dispel the myth whilst doing so.

  • What a beautiful horse. I love the way he moves. I'm currently in the process of breaking my 2 year old filly who has almost the same color combo. I'd be thrilled if she moves just half as beautifully as Shiloh does. Thanks for sharing!

  • Breathtaking! Love his color!

  • What a nice horse! You two are quite a team.

  • @538callie Thanks a lot for your comment it is much appreciated. Would you spread the word about him too? :)
