@georgevsmith1 That would have been great, George. I'll have to go back and look at Spike Lee's "When the Levees Broke", and see if he used this. I don't remember it being used. It would be great in "Eyes on the Prize 2" as well.

@KAIZER2000 In the context of that documentary, did the song mean that George Wallace was to be admired for overcoming his shortcomings and his paralysis, or that the rest of us would have to overcome people like Wallace? Genuine question.

I first heard this version a few years ago at the end of the t.v. movie about Alabama Governor George Wallace. What a great version. I have it on my iPod.
