This was from an all-county chorus I was in
I tear up just listenin to it, especially because our conductor gave us a sad story about it.
I love sharing my old chorus vids,and sharing sweet music with all you people. I really miss it, chorus was definitey one of my better experiences in life.

I was in this as well, God that story was sad. One of his favorite students was killed her senior year in high school right after they discussed her future in music. I remember the girls around me in my section and I trying not to cry when we were performing it. Beautiful song, I loved singing it.

the only criticism that i have with this is the simple fact of why I love it so much. I has no time signature, so each section is notated under a different "beat per minute" marking. The best performances of this will almost have it so every note is a different tempi. I love the tone in this choir, I wish they had played around with the openness that this song could have allowed them to have

i Really liked sining this song with my choir. such a great piece and i hate it when people who think they can sing this try, but this group performed it beautifully.
