@silentkiller16 I don't know what you mean by premade stuff, i guess the standard samples and such is pretty useless, however the audio/midi effects are great. But unlike Reason, Ableton supports VSTs, and that's whats makes it powerfull. Stick with it and i'll guarantee you it will payoff. Ableton works a bit differently than other studioapps, but once you understand the basics, which are pretty simple, you will see how awesome it is, and you will probably buy a Apple Mac after that ;)

@0verseer I took your advice (well i just got ableton, but still use FL).... I really thought i had a lot to learn with FL but this new program is massive and i find it hard to even follow the tutorials. At a first glance Ableton has plenty more pre-made stuff and endless ways to tweak them with impulse but almost overkill with the amount of options. I was never expecting any of this to be easy, but that's what makes me appreciate this genre of music so much.

jesus man thats amazing on FL studio ! I have FL sudio 8 and started making my own tracks but this gives me a vote of confidence on sound quality. I was going to use a mix of programs but it looks like i can do it all one one haha

@silentkiller16 You should drop FL studio and go straight to Ableton live instead...
Nothing like Kandi. If you're using software a good start is to learn how to layer. One patch per sound does not work unless you are doing acids/syncs. Try throwing some warmer high frequency layers in the bass/lead lines. Its generally a good idea to use different synths as well, as each will have a differential influence on the sound which will fill sonic "pores" or gaps in the sound, making the sound fatter/deeper overall.

@Nemisis99 Thanks. I made this a really long time ago before I really knew anything about FL, let alone layering.
