Good video. You know that intro title at the beginning of your video, what was that made in? Could I recreate it in Corel VideoStudio? Thanks

What deshaker settings did you use?

The processing does take rather a long time, but the end results are worth it, there are situations where you can't carry a tripod and even if you are really steady you still get some movement especially when zooming, so this does help. The Anti-Shake filter in CVS tends to soften the image a bit too much, I think

@johnboy1uk Howdy. I did try the NewBlue one a few weeks ago. It was taking so long to do a short video though, that I gave up and exited the process. I dont do that much with camcorder stuff anyway really, and will either use a tripod, image stabilisation on the camcorder or my rather expensive GlideCam. But there's no doubt virtualdub's 'deshaking' filter is an effective tool if used correctly.

It does, but the new one is called Stabilizer which is on the NewBlue FX site, which I think is more like DeShaker, I've tried the anti-shake and I thought it didn't do much to be honest, have a look at Stabilizer, there is a demo video which shows it in action

@johnboy1uk Corel's anti-shake filter is included in Corel VideoStudio X2 - does X3 not have it?
John, Having seen your video I tried it on a dynamic and very shaky bit of bike footage. It worked remakably well, It does leave some undesireable bits and pieces but overall its very good considering the extreme nature of the test.

Hi friend, sorry for late reply, try setting edge compensation to Adaptive+fixed only, it zooms in slightly and the border edges and artifacts tend to disappear, you have to experiment with the settings, but you can get some very good results
