@deb11357 most likely 1969/Kenny Rogers was with the1st edition at that time. I saw them at the Minnesota State Fair in the fall of 1970

I have always enjoyed the backing of this and other BJ Thomas songs. Kenny Rogers is a sublime harmoniser in popular music. Unbeatable pleasure.
