A good parent is one who loves their child unconditionally. If you don't love that child with all your heart, through thick and thin, whether they share your likes, dislikes, beliefs, or opinions, then, I'm sorry but, in my opinion, then that baby deserves a parent far better than you. Accept your responsibility as a parent and understand what it means to have and to love a child. In no circumstance do you have the right to judge and disapprove of your child.

I find the idea of this ad very moving. However, I will say this is one of the most overexposed lesbian couples in the media. Nikki was on Oprah years ago; I believe the show was about wives leaving their husbands for women. Nikki and Jill did a season of the Showtime reality show "The Real L Word." Their storyline focused on impending nuptials and the finale ended with them deciding on the venue seen in the ad. It's hard to feel genuine emotion when this ad has slimy media written all over it.
