'Gap' 'The Gap' Who gives a shit? They run sweatshops and don't deserve to be cool enough to have people worry about what their title is.

The commercials, however, are awesome.

I've called it "the gap" and I think it stems from that "fall into the gap" jingle from the mid 90s.

Flammen,

I've lived here for 30 years, all over the East Coast, and never heard anyone call it "The Gap". But that's because our country is so large, populous and diverse. As a result there are different languages spoken, dialects, different accents, even different spellings of words! Just like in any other larger country! Surprising, right?

Achso, well on tv all the Americans seem to say "the Gap", so maybe it's tv language idk. William Sledd etc seem to love saying it like that.
